Simone has the ability to be there for you, with you and bring out all of you. As women we all have an inner beauty to be shown in full but we tend to dress that down. At least that is what I came aware of when I had a closet session with Simone. Through her eyes I saw that many clothes I had were not representing me anymore. But also clothes I hadn’t worn, turned out to be great but in combination with other type of clothes or colours. Dare to combine, dare to be expressive. Then I went shopping with her. That was not only a lot of fun, but also helped me to get ‘out of my box’ and ‘into my fullness’. I ended up with clothes and clothes combinations I would not have picked, but once I put them on they were super on me. The finishing touch were the accessories - earrings, shawls, belts. Go for the details, be playful with it, try out. With her loving and absolute eye she helped me to get a sense of what confirms me and go for it.

Unlike others that I have experienced (2 other stylists) - I still felt it was me who was choosing what to keep and what to discard. Therefore when shopping after the session I did not simply buy the same safe styles again.
I have felt a distinct shift since our session in what I now look for when out shopping.
I’m not hiding my figure any more - wearing more fitted clothes and showing my graceful arms, shoulders and delicate collar bones much more than before. No longer bothered that they are “old”. Also colour is playing a much bigger part and I’m receiving many compliments when I wear my new emerald green blouse.
I’m also choosing finer fabrics and paying more for the pieces - and also taking more care of them / hand washing and changing the settings on the machine. Even the delicate cycle mangles the delicate fabrics so I am manually adjusting the temperature and spin cycle
I can actually feel the difference in and on my body when I wear brighter colours compared with the previous bland safe monochrome style.
